If you are a dental practice that operates any OPG or CBCT equipment, and you wish to obtain Medicare benefits, you will be required to obtain your DIAS accreditation prior to starting.
This will involve having a current LSPN and complying with the relevant state legislation around the ownership and use of radiation equipment.
Intra-oral xray equipment does not require accreditation.
